We teamed up with the Park Avenue Armory for Nick Cave’s The Let Go Freedom Ball. This legendary, one-of-a-kind dance party took place within the interdisciplinary artist’s monumental kinetic sculpture “chase” installed in the Park Ave Armory’s Drill Hall. Hosted by artist Matthew Placek, APPARATUS, House of Yes, Lady Fag, Papi Juice, Saada of Everyday People, Opening Ceremony, TELFAR and VISIONAIRE and featuring house music by DJ Marshall Jefferson. Freedom Ball attendees were invited to take part in a “dress to express” ball-style competition presided over by judges Nick Cave and Mickey Boardman, among others. This was truly a night to remember!
